About the Role
Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer.
Key Responsibilities- Visit assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
- Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes throughout each store.
- Provide the quantity for approximately 45% of the products scanned.
- Report to your store within the described deadline.
- Complete display scanning on the entire store each week; this can take several hours.
- Perform custom projects when requested, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours to the weekly workload for some weeks.
- Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain accuracy and quality of data.
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
- Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods.
- Can lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Must be a deadline‑driven self‑starter.
- Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
- Must be tech savvy.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Competitive Compensation ($16/hr).
- Flexibility in working hours tailored to personal scheduling needs and client requirements.
- Paid travel at your hourly rate (minus first & last 15 minutes).
- Paid sick time.

Estimated 8–13 hours per week, 52 weeks a year including holiday weeks. The role offers flexibility; available workdays vary by store type and include Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and sometimes Wednesday.
