As the business continues to expand, they are investing in their finance function to support increasing project activity and larger contract values.

About the Job This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to join a collaborative finance team and develop specialist experience in project and contract accounting. Working closely with senior finance colleagues, you will support the financial management of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, project costing, reporting and month-end accounting across a diverse portfolio.

Duties will include:

• Preparing monthly project revenue calculations in line with percentage completion accounting.
• Maintaining work in progress (WIP), accrued income, deferred income and contract accounting schedules.
• Assisting with project cost accounting, including accruals, subcontractor costs and period-end adjustments.
• Posting journals and completing reconciliations for project-related balance sheet accounts.
