The working pattern involves 20 hours per week with alternating weekly shifts: one week from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM and the following week from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
The hourly pay rate is £16.00 plus holiday pay.
This role offers a structured part-time schedule within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
* Answer and direct incoming telephone calls efficiently
* Welcome visitors and issue visitor passes as required
* Record visitor sign-ins and sign-outs accurately
* Manage incoming post and deliveries, including confidential items, following instructions
* Process outgoing post daily
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and communal areas
* Send weekly staff emails regarding upcoming events
* Order office supplies when necessary
* Coordinate with maintenance teams to manage room availability
* Perform weekly safety equipment checks
* Offer beverages to visitors on request
Experience required:
* Previous experience in reception or front-of-house roles is beneficial
* Ability to work the specified alternating shift pattern reliably
* Comfortable performing general administrative and visitor support tasks
* Good communication and organisational skills
