Category and Insights Manager

This is a full-time, on‑site role located in Maidenhead for a Category and Insights Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Helping to profitably grow Mademoiselle UK sales by:
• Developing category‑based relationships with all retailers for branded and Private Label
• Providing the marketing and sales team with shopper and category insights to build brand and account plans
• Managing agency workload priorities and insight sharing
• Internal reporting

Operational Tasks include:

• Coding, collating and analysing data from third party sources (Scan, Shopper and other) and presenting insights to the business
• Ensure monthly reports are updated and shared with the wider business, pulling out the key relevant insight
• Ensure customer partners receive regular category insight documents cementing our position as an impartial advisor in our specific subcategories
• Lead the execution of the category vision in the selected customers. Develop and execute strategies to maximise range and availability. The category strategies should incorporate all category growth levers.
• Work with retailer category and merchandising teams to ensure The English Cheesecake Company products are best positioned in stores
• Provide day to day support to the sales and marketing managers
• Provide account specific category data for retailer meetings and attend these with the sales team when required
• Advise on NPD trends, product positioning, ROS, promotional strategy and retail implementation
