Job Description:

A well-resourced secondary school is recruiting a Science Technician / Science Support professional to provide practical and classroom support within the Science department.

This role is particularly suited to candidates with a science background who are working towards QTS and are interested in progressing into a Science teaching role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and organise science practicals

Support teachers during laboratory-based lessons

Maintain equipment and ensure lab safety standards

Assist with classroom activities where required

Ideal Candidate:

Science graduate or experienced science support staff

Interest in progressing into teaching

Strong understanding of health and safety

Organised and proactive approach
