About the Role

You will deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to contribute at KS5 depending on experience. The setting prides itself on maintaining strong academic standards, excellent behaviour, and a supportive learning culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach engaging and challenging English lessons that raise student achievement.
• Plan, assess and track student progress in line with curriculum expectations.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment supporting all learners.
• Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development and wider school initiatives.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced English department.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with strong subject knowledge in English.
• Experience teaching KS3-KS4 (KS5 experience beneficial).
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• A passion for inspiring young people through literature and language.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and high teaching standards.
