Brightstone Education Partners is recruiting for SEN Class Teachers on behalf of a highly regarded specialist school in Maidenhead supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The Role
As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, personalised learning programmes that support pupils with autism across a range of ages and abilities.
You will:
* Lead a class of pupils with autism and additional needs
* Plan, deliver, assess, and adapt learning to meet individual needs
* Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families
* Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP outcomes
* Support pupils' communication, independence, wellbeing, and preparation for adulthood
* Promote positive behaviour through consistent and supportive approaches
* Contribute to the wider development of the school community
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has a passion for SEND and inclusive education
* Can build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
* Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and adaptability
* Has high expectations for every learner
* Is committed to ongoing professional development
* Works effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Previous experience working with autism or SEND is desirable but not essential for candidates who can demonstrate a genuine passion for specialist education.
