MLD Teaching Assistant - Maidenhead

Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)?

A specialist SEN school in Maidenhead is seeking a dedicated and caring MLD Teaching Assistant to join their team.

As an MLD Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group support tailored to students with MLD and additional needs.
• Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Help students develop confidence, independence, communication, and active participation in learning.

We're looking for an MLD Teaching Assistant who is:

• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people with additional needs.
• A confident communicator with a genuine passion for working within SEN.
• Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, education, or therapy.
• Able to build strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Resilient, proactive, and willing to support students with a range of learning needs.
