Are you a qualified and passionate SEN Teacher dedicated to supporting children with special educational needs? We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

• Adapt the curriculum, learning activities, and resources to meet individual learning styles, abilities, and needs.
• Develop and implement individual learning plans and targeted interventions where appropriate.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents, carers, and other professionals to support pupils' progress and development.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and create a calm, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
• Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, behavioural, and communication development.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to support pupils with different needs, including communication, learning, behavioural, and sensory needs.
• Monitor, assess, and record pupils' progress and use assessment information to inform future planning.
• Set realistic and challenging targets that encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Support pupils who may display challenging behaviour through consistent, positive, and nurturing behaviour management strategies.
• Promote inclusion and ensure all pupils have equal access to learning opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, SENCOs, school leaders, and external professionals regarding pupils' needs and progress.
• Support pupils during wider school activities, trips, break times, and other activities where required.
• Follow school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, behaviour, and confidentiality.
• Take part in relevant training and professional development opportunities.

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• A commitment to inclusion and ensuring every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.
• A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
