About the RoleAre you an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an inspiring and committed Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment, helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally while encouraging them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Teach the Year 4 curriculum across a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, and the wider curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupils' progress and attainment, identifying areas for development and providing appropriate support.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to engage pupils and promote positive learning experiences.
- Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities, including those with SEND.
- Establish and maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and personal development.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, the SENCO, and the wider school team.
- Contribute to planning, assessment, moderation, and wider school activities.
- Maintain accurate records of pupils' progress, attendance, behaviour, and attainment.
- Support pupils' social and emotional development and promote positive relationships within the classroom and wider school.
- Participate in school trips, assemblies, extracurricular activities, and other aspects of school life where required.
- Follow school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding, child protection, behaviour, health and safety, and confidentiality.
- Take part in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.
- Have qualified teacher status (QTS) or be working towards the relevant teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally with experience in Key Stage 2.
- Have a strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and pupils' learning and developmental needs.
- Be passionate about helping children achieve their academic and personal potential.
