Behavioural Support Assistant - Maidenhead Are you passionate about supporting young people and looking for a role where you can make a real difference? A brilliant SEN School in Maidenhead is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and inspiring Behavioural Support Assistant to join their team.

Job Responsibilities as a Behavioural Support Assistant Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students who may display challenging behaviour, emotional difficulties, or additional learning needs. Support students in developing positive behaviour, emotional regulation, confidence, independence, and social skills. Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to implement individual behaviour support plans and strategies. Build positive and trusting relationships with students, providing consistent encouragement, reassurance, and guidance.

What we're looking for in a Behavioural Support Assistant Compassionate and empathetic - able to understand and respond sensitively to students with behavioural and emotional needs. Patient and supportive - able to provide consistent reassurance, encouragement, and boundaries when students are experiencing challenging behaviours. Excellent communication skills - able to communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents/carers, and other professionals. Emotionally resilient - able to remain calm, professional, and composed when supporting students experiencing distress or challenging behaviour.
