Maidenhead | Up to £45,000 | 9-Day Fortnight

You'd be joining a fast-growing aerospace and UAV business building next-generation heavy lift drone platforms for real-world defence and logistics applications. The work is varied, hands-on and closely tied to live engineering projects.

You'll work directly with engineers and technicians machining precision components used on cutting-edge autonomous aircraft, with the chance to see your work go from prototype through to flight testing.

The role includes:

Manual milling and turning
Programming and setting 3-axis VMC machinery
Working from engineering drawings and CAD data
Supporting prototype and low-volume builds
Collaborating closely with hardware and R&D teams

They're looking for someone with:

Strong machining experience (manual and/or CNC)
Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
A proactive, hands-on mindset
Experience working with metallics and plastics
