The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) is seeking an experienced and inspiring finance leader to take on the pivotal role of Head of Finance Business Partnering. • Lead on all aspects of the Council’s budget setting and management accounting, driving insight and accountability across the organisation.
• Guide and develop a talented team of finance professionals and CIPFA trainees, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders and elected members, providing clear, strategic financial insight to support evidence‑based decisions.
• Play a key role in maintaining and developing the Medium‑Term Financial Strategy, ensuring sustainability and value for money across all services.

We’re looking for a CCAB‑qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA) with proven experience in leading finance teams and partnering with senior stakeholders. You’ll combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a passion for public sector excellence.
