Financial Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team in the Technology & Telecoms industry. The role is based in Maidenhead and focuses on managing financial operations to support business objectives effectively.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to streamline processes.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of VAT
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 per annum.
