We are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a well-established consumer-sector business in Maidenhead. This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of £48,000-£52,000 plus a 10% bonus, with hybrid working and an expectation of three days each week in the office.
The opportunityThis is a commercially focused role for someone who enjoys turning financial information into practical guidance. You will work closely with sales and finance colleagues, helping teams understand performance, make informed decisions and maintain reliable forecasts and controls.
What you will be doing- Track commercial plans and explain movements across revenue, volume, margin and profitability.
- Review customer promotions, trade investment and related accruals to support accurate reporting.
- Prepare clear recurring reports and analysis for finance and sales stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and risk-and-opportunity reviews.
- Provide constructive challenge and insight to commercial teams as a trusted finance partner.
- Help maintain robust processes, systems and monthly financial controls.
- Contribute to cross-functional work involving new products, pricing, cash flow and performance improvement.
You will have previous experience in commercial finance or financial planning and will be comfortable partnering with a sales function in an FMCG or CPG environment. Strong numerical and Excel skills are essential, together with an analytical mindset, good organisation and the confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders. Experience of SAP, promotional planning, trade-accrual tools or similar commercial systems would be useful but is not essential.
