Achieve Therapy Ltd is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to deliver occupational therapy input at Beech Lodge School
, an independent specialist SEN school and recent Independent SEN School of the Year award winner
.
This is a part-time role (1–2 days per week) within a nurturing, well-established school environment, with access to excellent facilities including a fully equipped Sensory Integration (SI) gym
. You will work collaboratively with school staff and the wider MDT to shape meaningful, child-centred therapy provision.

, with a strong focus on understanding the whole child within their everyday school environment. We work closely with specialist schools to embed OT into the daily rhythm of school life, supporting regulation, participation, and functional engagement

- Deliver direct OT input to students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, developmental trauma, and sensory processing differences
- Plan and deliver sensory integration–informed individual and small-group interventions
- Support emotional regulation, interoceptive awareness, motor skills, and functional participation
- Work collaboratively with teachers, LSAs, families, and the wider MDT
- Contribute to reports, reviews, and EHCP-related documentation as required
- Provide practical advice, modelling, and strategies to school staff to support carryover
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with children and young people with SEND
- Confidence delivering school-based OT interventions
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, relationship-based approach
- Postgraduate training or experience in Sensory Integration
- Experience working with developmental trauma and attachment-informed approaches
- Experience in specialist or independent SEN school settings
- Competitive hourly rate: £30–£45 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Flexible working: 1–2 days per week, with potential to increase
