Salary: £21.84 - £24.06 per hour

Contract:

2 × 12‑hour shifts per week (24 hours total)

• Take responsibility for the well‑being of our residents and ensure their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
• Coach and guide the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
• Carry out assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans for each resident.
• Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation.

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin; responsible for managing the unit alongside clinical duties in the home.
• Experience in ensuring policies and standards are maintained at a high clinical standard.
• Confidence in offering clinical guidance to care teams and supporting CQC tasks.
• Ability to build connections with residents and their families, displaying kindness and support.
• Effective communication and reporting skills for handover of clinical issues to other team members and health‑care professionals.
• For night shifts: enhanced skills for patient safety, strong critical thinking, self‑reliance, and the ability to manage care staff and remain calm in emergencies.
