Mental Health Assistant - ASD Specialist School Maidenhead, Berkshire | £90-£105 per day | ASAP Start Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain hands-on experience supporting children with Autism and complex additional needs? Would you like to develop your experience in a specialist school alongside professionals working in Psychology, Therapy and Mental Health ? A highly regarded ASD specialist school in Maidenhead is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant to support children with Autism, sensory processing difficulties, communication needs and complex learning disabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and aspiring professionals who are considering a career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Counselling, Mental Health or SEN . You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils develop their communication, emotional regulation, social skills, independence and confidence. You'll work closely with experienced teaching and therapeutic staff and gain valuable insight into how specialist strategies and interventions can support children with complex needs.
