Location

Maidenhead, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office

Salary
: £40 - £50k per annum, pro rata

Full Time, 37 hours per week, Mon – Fri

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take the lead on how our IT services are delivered across the organisation, making sure colleagues get a reliable experience. You’ll oversee our service desk, manage complex incidents, and keep everything running smoothly while looking for ways to improve service delivery. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external providers to resolve issues quickly while keeping people informed. Alongside this, you’ll lead and develop a small team, setting clear expectations and creating a positive, supportive environment.

You’ll collaborate with everyone to understand what people need, ensuring services evolve with demand and systems remain secure.

What you need to have
  • Experience leading an IT Service Delivery
  • Confident managing third‑party suppliers
  • Good understanding of service management frameworks (such as ITIL)
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, Active Directory and desktop environments
  • A people‑focused leadership style

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is an organisation dedicated to honouring and caring for the graves and memorials of service members who died in the two World Wars. The work of the commission is not only out on the field, but in our head office too, which contributes to the meaningful commemoration of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
