Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician Apprentice

Salary: £24,293 per annum

• Maidenhead
• Gosport/Portsmouth
• Kineton/Brize

Working Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday

As part of your apprenticeship you will be enrolled into a Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician qualification for 36 months, supported by our partnered college with one‑to‑one advice, e‑learning materials and a full team of experts on hand for guidance.

• Complete the 3‑year apprenticeship qualification:
  Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician Apprentice Standard within Years 1‑3.
• Gain on‑the‑job experience, starting with shadowing your mentor and other engineers, then performing tasks under supervision and alongside qualified engineers with your work being checked and signed off.
• Work on customer premises and at Amey Defence Equipment workshop locations within your specified region.

• 3 GCSEs at grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English, Science & Mathematics (Desirable)
• A full or provisional UK driving licence (Desirable)
• Comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather conditions
• Comfortable completing both manual labour and administrative tasks
