The Impact you will have:

• Follow all reasonable and lawful instructions including those related to Health and Safety.
• Promote and adhere to Briggs’s culture and values
• Successfully complete agreed objectives as laid out by their mentor and the training team.
• Complete all training related documents and assignments on time and in the approved format
• Attend training courses as required
• Work as instructed by their mentor to ensure all work is carried out safely

Work towards Engineering responsibilities:

• Working at our Depot in Maidenhead, complete all supervised repair work , ensuring safe working practices are adhered to.
• Carry out PDI’s on new equipment completing all related paperwork.
• Use any available resources to achieve this, including when required the Briggs Technical team
• Ensure all work complies with engineering standards and, as relevant, Briggs/manufacturer specification/tolerances.
• Carry out inspection/checks on own work as it proceeds and ensuring that the equipment performs satisfactorily and is safe before handing back to the customer.
• Complete all related job and service documentation is correctly

Role Purpose:

• On the job training of the practical aspects of the role of a Workshop Engineer.
• Carry out work on Mechanical / Electrical and Hydraulic Handling equipment (all work will be supervised by a competent Engineer and the Trainee will not carry out any unsupervised work)
• Work will be Depot based so that the trainee can gain as much experience as possible.
• In house technical training will be provided by our Academy
