What You'll Be Doing:

As a Workshop Repair Technician, you'll be at the heart of our repair operation, ensuring every piece of luggage is handled with care and precision. Your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing repairs:
Determine authenticity and identify repair needs.
Repairing Items:
Use approved methods and genuine parts to carry out repairs.
Quality Control:
Complete documentation accurately to ensure all repairs meet the highest standards.
Stock Management:
Advise supervisors on parts that need ordering or replenishing.
Timely Follow-ups:
Keep track of repairs awaiting parts for prompt completion.
Making Decisions:
Determine whether repair or replacement is the best solution.
Preparing for Despatch:
Get repaired items ready for delivery to customers, stores, or clients.
Support Administration:
Assist with booking-in processes as needed.
Provide Expertise:
Share your technical knowledge with colleagues and management.
Adhere to Policies:
Follow all company policies, including data protection requirements.

What We're Looking For:

Essential

Qualifications:

Fluent written and spoken English.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong practical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable

Qualifications:

Experience in a workshop, engineering, repair, or technical environment.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
