Are you an experienced finance leader ready to shape and elevate a high-performing accounting function within a complex, multi-entity UK business?

This is an opportunity to take full ownership of financial reporting and control, driving excellence, efficiency, and strategic alignment at a national level. You’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening processes, enhancing visibility, and ensuring robust governance — all while leading and developing a sizeable finance team.

As the senior lead for UK accounting and reporting, you will:

• Take full responsibility for accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and CAPEX forecasting
• Drive continuous improvement across month-end and year-end close processes
• Lead statutory reporting and external audits, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and internal policies
• Oversee cash flow and working capital performance, implementing tools and insights to optimise results
• Strengthen internal controls and accelerate process automation
• Support strategic projects including legal entity simplification and financial due diligence activity
• Build strong relationships with auditors, tax advisors and key internal stakeholders
• Lead and develop a mid-sized UK accounting team, fostering accountability, collaboration and performance

This role offers genuine influence across operational and strategic finance, with exposure to senior leadership and group-level initiatives.

• Proven experience leading teams within a complex organisation
• Strong knowledge of UK and international accounting standards
• Experience with SAP
• A track record of improving processes, strengthening controls and developing high-performing teams
• A hands‑on approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish
