Community Development Officer

Maidenhead (Hybrid Working - Minimum 2 Days in the Office) £18.17 - £20.16 per hour PAYE (£23.44 - £26.02 per hour Umbrella) 3-Month Temporary Contract Full-Time, 37 Hours per Week Enhanced DBS Required Are you passionate about supporting communities and improving outcomes for residents? We are seeking a Community Development Officer to join a busy and supportive team on a 3-month temporary assignment.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with residents, carers, community groups, voluntary sector organisations, and partner agencies to strengthen local communities and promote independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities Engage with residents and community groups through outreach activities and events. Develop and maintain relationships with local community organisations and stakeholders. Support residents to access community-based services and preventative support. Promote independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion. Facilitate community engagement and co-production activities. Support unpaid carers through assessments, advice, and signposting. Maintain accurate records and case management information. Attend community meetings, forums, and networking events.

About You You will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Community development or community engagement. Resident, customer, or service-user support. Housing, local authority, social care, health, charity, or voluntary sector environments. Stakeholder engagement and partnership working. Delivering outreach activities, workshops, or community events. You will be an excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills and a genuine commitment to supporting local communities. What's on Offer? Hybrid working arrangement.
