About the role

Volunteer Retail role in Oxfam’s high street shops, Ecommerce Hubs, and Online Shop. We are seeking friendly, reliable volunteers aged 18+ to help turn donated stock into resources that empower communities worldwide. No prior experience is required; full training will be provided.

• Undertaking shop related tasks agreed with the Manager, for example:
• Selecting, sorting, and pricing donated stock.
• Chatting to customers and giving great service on the till.
• Researching valuable and vintage stock.
• Visual merchandising: creating eye‑catching window and in‑store displays.
• Photographing and listing items for the online shop.
• Occasionally lifting boxes with safe working environment and health and safety training.

• Reliable and on time for your volunteering.
• Happy to be part of a team and collaborate effectively with others.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new tasks.

• Some lunch and travel costs paid (check with the Manager for coverage).
• Access to training and development.
