An AV technology company for the future who are rapidly expanding and driving forward the most up-to-date technology in digital signage, audio visual and IT.

• Carrying out first and second fix installation activities on time and to the required standard
• Have excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skills
• Working under instruction from Senior Engineers and Project Managers, but also to think laterally and suggest engineering solutions on site
• Working from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and drawings, including ensuring that any changes are reflected on the schematics
• Manage, motivate and be responsible for an onsite project team
• Be responsible for the quality and productivity of the project team ensuring that the required level of professionalism is maintained
• Ensure that systems are made ready for handover from installation to commissioning, including documentation
• Installation of Video Conferencing systems
• Installation of Audio Visual systems

• CTS Qualified would be an advantage
• Strong ability to work alone and on own initiative
• Ability to carry out installation activities on time and to the required standard
• Be organized, flexible and able to overcome challenges during the working day
• Very good communication skills
• Good understanding of 1st and 2nd fix AV installations
• Excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skills
• Ability to work from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and projector drawings
• Strong mechanical skills
• Experience and understanding of control systems, AMX / Crestron would be an advantage
• Experience and understanding of Video Conferencing systems would be an advantage
• The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience of production and wiring methods and have carried out previous installation work in the AV industry
• A full, clean UK driving licence is essential
