Job Description
Our client is a leading, Top 15 firm of Accountants and Business Advisors based in Maidstone, with offices across Kent. They have seen excellent growth in recent years and offer a holistic accountancy practice service for their clients. Joining as Audit & Accounts Senior from the firm’s Maidstone office, you will manage, deliver and provide audit and accounts services to clients across varied industries and sectors, encompassing corporates, listed businesses, OMBs, SMEs, not‑for‑profit, charity, and other niche clients.
You will develop client relationships and work with the wider tax and accounts teams on project work as you progress within the Audit & Accounts team. A clear progression path is on offer for you to build a fantastic career in this Top 15 chartered accountancy practice, and the position can be moulded around the candidate’s experience and aspirations.
ResponsibilitiesManage, deliver and provide audit and accounts services to a diverse client base, develop and nurture client relationships, collaborate with tax and accounts teams on project work, and progress within the Audit & Accounts team.
Requirements- ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
- Extensive audit experience within a practice environment
- Confident in providing exceptional client service and delivery
- Team player who wants to join a "family" of like‑minded individuals
- A dynamic approach – adapts quickly to change and finds smart ways to deliver results
- Strong background in audit or audit and accounts, with demonstrable audit experience gained within a practice; experience supervising others and delegating work
- Excellent communication skills internally and directly with clients
- £40,000‑£48,000 dependent on experience
- 25 days annual leave
