Accounts & Audit Senior – Part Time

TPF Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable, forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Maidstone, who are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established practice with a strong regional presence, offering a great mix of audit and accounts work, exposure to a varied client base, and genuine progression prospects. The level of audit work can be built around the cnaidate’s experience and aspirations.

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will take on a varied and hands on role, working across both audit and accounts assignments. You will manage your own portfolio while supporting managers and partners on larger engagements.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading audits from planning through to completion

Preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of clients

Working with owner managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporates

Supervising and mentoring junior staff

Acting as a key point of contact for clients

Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and relevant regulations

ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification

Strong experience in a mixed audit and accounts role within practice

Good technical knowledge and a proactive approach

Confident communicator with strong client facing skills

Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines

Competitive salary of £45,000 £ 55,000
