Project Administrator

Location:

Dartford

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:00am‑5:00pm

Salary: £28,000‑£30,000 (DOE)

Overview

We are seeking an organized and proactive Project Administrator to join a well‑established and fast‑growing organisation based in Dartford. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a varied, fast‑paced environment and is confident supporting senior leaders with day‑to‑day project administration.

You will be joining a small, supportive, and tight‑knit team in a modern office with plenty of opportunities to learn and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and drafting client quotations
  • Creating and issuing job cards
  • Drafting, formatting, and submitting tenders
  • Labelling and organising floor plans
  • Accessing, uploading, and maintaining documents on client portals
  • Managing project folders and maintaining accurate records
  • General office administration including emails, calls, and filing
  • Providing ad‑hoc support to Directors, including joining Teams/Zoom meetings as required
  • Raising site access permits
  • Arranging couriers and deliveries
  • Chasing outstanding purchase orders
  • Ensuring smooth day‑to‑day administration of ongoing projects
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an office‑based administrative role (essential)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with in the construction industry (highly advantageous)
  • Familiarity with client portals such as Aconex, Project Plus, or Asite (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
