Overview

Vehicle Technician required in Maidstone, Kent.

• Basic Salary £32,000 - £40,000 – Flexible dependent on experience
• Monthly Bonus available, OTE £50,000
• Minimum Guaranteed bonus for 12 months
• Mon – Fri 08:00 – 17:30, 30 minutes lunch
• 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am – 1pm – Additional Payment for Saturdays worked
• Franchised Main Dealer

Our client, a well-known franchised dealer group, is seeking a Vehicle Technician in the Maidstone area. With extensive experience, our client offers a stable working environment with a strong reputation in the local community.

They work with car drivers, commercial customers, pick-up professionals and cargo couriers. The dealership is a well-known car and commercial vehicle dealer, currently seeking motivated qualified Vehicle Technicians looking to build a flourishing career in the Workshop Department. The team is friendly and values a collaborative culture.

Our client has an expansive history in the automotive trade and represents several brands across both car and commercial vehicles. They promote a strong business ethos and create a positive environment that supports both individuals and the business.

You will be working in a brand-new, state-of-the-art dealership, with the opportunity to work on both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard
• Conducting vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
• Completing work within the given time frames and to a high standard
• Maintaining accurate records of all work completed
• Participating in manufacturer training programs to further develop your skills
• Adhering to health and safety regulations

• Previous motor trade experience within a Vehicle Technician role or similar is essential
• An MOT Testing licence would be favourable but not essential
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to keep technical knowledge updated to provide the most efficient service possible
• The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Confidence in problem solving
• Full UK Driving Licence – Preferably Clean
• Right to Live & work in the UK – No Sponsorship Available
