We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Banking Direct Relationship Manager.
You’ll acquire, retain and grow relationships with customers within Business Banking, and provide dedicated relationship management to a portfolio of customers with accountability for sales, service, risk and operational delivery.

In this role you’ll:- Optimise the existing relationships by assisting in the delivery of solutions, products, and services appropriate to meet customer needs
- Seek new opportunities and nurture existing relationships to identify new business opportunities, and build a network of business introducers in the business community
- Adhere to structures and processes in place for the management of credit, operational, reputation, financial crime and regulatory risk
- Drive revenue growth through understanding customer needs and by adopting a needs-based approach which engages clients and increases new business
- Deepen understanding of the client through pro-active credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews
- Proven commercial lending experience is essential with a good understanding of financial accounts being a prerequisite
- Proven experience of leading the delivery of excellent customer service
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others and negotiating effectively is essential. Experience building effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
- A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
- Planning and organisational skills in order to manage the unexpected as well as anticipated issues or events
