We are a small but professional asbestos consultancy based in Kent, seeking a Qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who values quality, integrity, and a supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG
264 and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company procedures.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Asbestos Surveyor based in Maidstone, operating throughout Kent and the South East. The Asbestos Surveyor will conduct asbestos surveys, including management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys, in compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include sampling and analysis, preparing detailed reports, ensuring on-site health and safety standards, providing client consultations, and contributing to robust asbestos management plans. The successful candidate will also maintain compliance with industry best practices and represent the professionalism of Medway Insulations Ltd.

Qualifications
  • Experience conducting asbestos surveys, including Management, Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys, and knowledge of sampling and analysis techniques.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current asbestos regulations and best practices in the UK.
  • Strong report writing, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication, client consultation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and systems relevant to survey report preparation (TEAMS software).
  • Qualifications such as BOHS P402 or equivalent are essential; additional certifications (e.g., P403, P404) are advantageous.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Experience in the asbestos industry, with a commitment to maintaining high safety and environmental standards.
