Tender Co-Ordinator / Estimator Full-Time Permanent

The Role Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for developing winning tender strategies, preparing accurate estimates, and coordinating comprehensive tender submissions.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship management skills. You will ensure all tenders are competitively structured, commercially sound, and professionally presented - minimising risk while delivering first-class service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement winning tender strategies
  • Produce detailed and competitive cost estimates
  • Analyse tender opportunities and make informed bid/no-bid recommendations
  • Coordinate the full tender return documentation and submission process
  • Review and manage historical cost data and market trends
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Lead and support client presentations and pre-contract meetings
  • Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, Planning Regulations, and relevant legislation
  • Manage pre-contract documentation and handover to delivery teams
  • Control and monitor costs associated with tenders
  • Ensure high standards of health & safety and compliance with company policies
About You We are looking for a commercially astute and detail-oriented professional with strong organisational and communication skills.Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in estimating and tender coordination within construction or fit-out
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational ability
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident presenting to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office
  • Experience using Bluebeam or similar software
  • Strong team player with high levels of integrity and professionalism
Qualifications:
  • Membership of a recognised industry body (e.g., RICS or CIOB) or proven commercial estimating experience
