Roles/Responsibilities

Prepare budgets and tenders for new projects.
Support the Pre-Construction Director with daily pre-construction activities.
Maintain tender diaries, submission dates, and project schedules.
Review tender documentation to determine project requirements.
Undertake manual and digital take-offs from drawings and tender documents.
Produce Bills of Quantities and manage cost inputs.
Issue enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers.
Collate, evaluate, and compare subcontractor quotations.
Prepare and submit tender documentation and post-tender queries.
Manage post-tender processes through to contract award.
Coordinate and conduct tender handover meetings with construction teams.
Maintain and update subcontractor databases and records.
Attend project and site visits as required.
Support filing, administration, and documentation control processes.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an Estimator or pre-construction role within construction.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and written information.
Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Professional, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work.
Valid driver’s licence preferred.
