Estimator / Senior Estimator | Kent | Main Contractor | Permanent

Ok – so a couple of new roles fresh off the press. There is a bit of flexibility around the level on this because we are looking for both

• An Estimator who wants a bit more ownership and exposure
• A Senior Estimator who is already used to running tenders and being a prominent voice in pre-construction.

The business itself. So, they have grown very nicely over the last few years. Not in the Linkedin “look at us, we are amazing” sort of way, but just through working on good projects, building decent client relationships, securing repeat business and continuing to bring in better people all the time.

Naturally, the Estimating role covers the full tender process from early enquiry through to handover:

• take-offs
• Bo Qs
• subcontractor packages
• pricing returns
• tender submissions
• post-tender negotiations

The more senior side of the role naturally leans more towards leading tenders, supporting junior staff and helping steady the ship when multiple bids land at once.

We aren’t looking for somebody theatrical or dramatic here. Just Estimators who are commercially aware that understand construction, can deal with subcontractors properly and don’t fall apart when the pressure is on.

This is a business that expects a lot from their employees but the rewards and progression are very clear to see for those who deliver.

£50k–£95k depending on level and experience and seniority.
