What Does a Cover Supervisor Do?

No two days are ever the same — and that’s what makes it brilliant! Your responsibilities will include:

⭐ Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes of eager learners

⭐ Keeping students engaged, focused, and on-task

⭐ Bringing your own sparkle, confidence, and personality to the room

⭐ Managing behaviour positively and professionally

⭐ Adapting to different subjects and year groups throughout the day

⭐ Being that reliable, friendly face students look forward to seeing

⭐ Supporting the wider school team with energy and enthusiasm

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Has CACHE Level 2/3 qualification OR at least 6 months experience working with young people

Is confident managing a classroom of students aged 11–16

Can communicate clearly, positively, and professionally

Can keep calm under pressure and bring out the best in every student

Is flexible, adaptable, and happy to jump into new subjects and settings

Has a positive attitude and loves working with young people
