The RoleWe are looking for talented individuals to join our Education Team as Training Instructors to educate current industry professional and help build a stronger workforce across the utilities sector

- Water Distribution Networks
- Leakage
- Water Treatment
- Utilities Mains Laying and Repairs
You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training content, ensuring it meets both industry and awarding body standards. Training will be delivered across multiple platforms; at our in-house training facility, at client premises, and via remote e-classrooms — so flexibility and a passion for teaching are key.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging training sessions to a high standard across a variety of subjects
- Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback
- Create and adapt training materials to suit client needs and awarding body requirements
- Support the development and quality improvement of training programmes
- Monitor learner progress and provide learner support where necessary
- Maintain knowledge of training best practices and industry developments
- Work in accordance with Company policies and the BMS as applicable to the role and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Tech-savvy and confident using MS Office, Teams, Zoom
- At least 2 years experience in the utilities industry
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in a training or instructional role
- Level 3 or 4 qualification in Training & Development / Education (e.g. PTTLS / CTTLS) (willing to work towards)
- Assessor qualification (e.g. TAQA / CAVA) (willing to work towards)
- IOSH Technical Membership (or above)
- EUSR accreditation (willing to work towards)
