Bank SEN Teaching Assistant – Flexible Work

Hours:

8:30 am - 3:30 pm (on your available days)

Pay: £92.63 - £98.23 per day

We are currently recruiting for Bank SEN Teaching Assistants to support SEN schools across the Tonbridge & Maidstone area. This is a flexible role, ideal for individuals looking to work around studies, childcare, or other commitments. You will be contacted on a weekly basis to confirm your availability for upcoming work.

• Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Assisting with learning activities and classroom engagement
• Supporting students with additional needs and challenging behaviour
• Adapting to different school environments and situations
• Helping to maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive setting

• Experience in a care or support-based role is highly desirable
• A resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Flexibility and willingness to work across different schools
• Ability to work well independently and as a team
• Passion to support and empower children and young people
• DBS on the Updates Service or willingness to obtain one
• Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
