We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join a highly regarded independent school in the Maidstone area from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Physics specialist to become part of a supportive and successful school community.
The position will initially be offered on a temporary one-term base, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Physics lessons, helping students develop a strong understanding of the subject and achieve their academic potential. The school is looking for a teacher who can bring enthusiasm, subject knowledge and creativity to the classroom, while building positive relationships with students.
Qualifications- Be a qualified Physics Teacher (QTS or equivalent) or have strong experience teaching Physics
- Have experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
- Be passionate about Physics and able to inspire students through engaging lessons
- Have excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Be a collaborative and supportive member of the wider school community
