We are looking for a Qualified Teacher of Chemistry to provide daily supply cover for a variety of schools in Maidstone, Kent, from 1st September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chemistry teacher looking for the flexibility of daily supply, while working within a well-established and supportive school environment. The successful candidate will primarily teach Chemistry, with some Biology, and should be confident stepping into lessons and maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment.
The role will run from 1st September until 23rd October 2026, with the potential to extend further beyond this period.
Daily Rate: £130-£140 per day, depending on experience.
About You- Previous secondary Chemistry/Biology teaching experience - essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum
- Confident teaching Chemistry, with some Biology
- Able to quickly adapt to different classes and learning needs
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passionate about engaging students and developing their interest in Science
- Reliable, flexible and confident working across a secondary school environment
