£38,000 - £44,000 + Training + Up to 15% Annual Bonus + Increased Earnings (Overtime, Bonuses and Call Out) + Van, Tools and Equipment + Healthcare Plans + 7% Pension + 33 Days Holiday Allowance
Are you a mechanical engineer or mechanic with experience working on engines, looking to train into becoming a Power Generation Engineer where you will gain a skillset within the renewable energy industry securing yourself a futureproof job?

The company are a leading landfill operator in the UK looking to change the way waste is dealt with across the country. Due to continued success and an on-going programme of growth, they are now looking to recruit another engineer to join their team.
In this role the person will be maintaining and servicing power generation equipment on sites across Kent, Sussex and South London. They will carry out essential maintenance and repairs to Gensets (Gas Reciprocating Engines, CHP Engines and more) across landfill sites. Full training can be provided.
This is the ideal role for mechanical engineers or mechanics with experience working on engines looking to receive training into heavy industrial work. You will be looking to gain a skillset within the Power Generation sector, gaining a secure job for life due to the futureproof nature of both the industry and equipment you will be trained on.
The Role:- Service and maintenance of heavy industrial engines, along with other power generation equipment such as CHP engines, Gas Reciprocating Engines and more.
- Preventative, reactive and breakdown services.
- Fault diagnosis - with record keeping and log taking.
- 1 in 6 call out rota - paid at a standby rate AND enhanced rate.
- Training and excellent benefits provided.
- Mechanical Engineer or Mechanic - experience in maintenance and repair.
- Time served or qualified.
- Experience in petrol / diesel engine maintenance / overhauls / repairs.
- Perfect for those in army, REME, HGV Mechanics, Power Generation, agricultural or heavy plant industries.
- Happy to travel across Kent, Sussex and South London.
