We are seeking an experienced Director - Electrical Engineering to lead the electrical design function within a multidisciplinary building services consultancy operating across the UK. This senior leadership role is ideal for a highly accomplished engineer with a strong track record in managing teams, delivering complex projects, and shaping business strategy.

• Lead and manage the electrical engineering team across multiple projects
• Set technical strategy and ensure high standards of design and delivery
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and support business growth
• Oversee design reviews, calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings
• Ensure compliance with UK standards, regulations, and sustainable design targets
• Mentor senior and junior engineers, supporting career development
• Contribute to operational planning, fee management, and project resourcing
• Represent the consultancy at industry events, forums, and client meetings
• Promote innovation and best practice in low carbon and sustainable design

You will bring a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, Chartered status with significant consultancy experience, strong knowledge of BS standards, CIBSE guidance, Wiring Regulations, and low carbon design, a track record in leading complex building services projects, excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills, the ability to develop and mentor teams, shape technical strategy, and a commercial mindset with experience contributing to business growth.
