We're recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor Water / Utilities.

We're recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor for an Outside IR35 contract supporting South East Water engineering projects across Kent
.

This role suits a commercially focused QS with strong experience in utilities and high-volume works
, delivering tight cost control within a regulated environment.

• Weekly cost and revenue reporting
• Control of daily completed works submissions
• Preparation and management of Schedules of Rates
• Subcontractor cost reconciliation and payment certificates
• Liaison with Operations and Planning on progress and scope changes
• Commercial review of schemes against targets
• Pricing high-volume, low-value works
• Supporting WIP reviews
• Weekly and monthly cost analysis

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in water, utilities, civil or mechanical engineering
• Strong background in high-volume, low-value frameworks
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts
• Excellent Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills

Degree in Quantity Surveying or HNC/HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
