Our client, a well-established and highly respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer with a minimum of two years' post-graduate experience to join their growing drainage team in Maidstone.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to develop your career within a supportive and design-focused consultancy environment, working on a broad range of residential, commercial, heritage, and mixed-use development projects.

You will support the delivery of drainage and infrastructure design projects from concept through to construction, working closely with senior engineers and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design of surface water and foul drainage systems
• Preparation of drainage strategies and technical reports for planning
• SuDS design in accordance with CIRIA guidelines
• Hydraulic modelling using Micro Drainage, Info Drainage, or similar
• Production of technical drawings using AutoCAD (Civil 3D advantageous)
• Supporting Section 104, 106 and 278 submissions
• Liaising with local authorities, water companies, architects, and clients
• Undertaking site visits where required

• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
• Minimum 2 years' UK consultancy experience
• Experience in drainage design for development projects
• Strong understanding of UK standards (Sewers for Adoption, Part H, SuDS Manual)
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Working towards ICE Chartership (desirable)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
