We are recruiting on behalf of an established specialist engineering and maintenance business looking to add an experienced Pump Engineer to its field-based team.

The company provides a range of engineering, maintenance and infrastructure services to commercial and domestic customers across the region and has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable technical support.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a secure, long-term position with strong earning potential, ongoing training and development.

The Role

As a Pump Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of pumping equipment across customer sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Servicing and maintaining pumps and associated equipment

* Working on wastewater and surface water pumping systems

* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance

* Inspecting equipment and associated infrastructure

* Attending breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required

* Identifying faults and completing repairs efficiently

* Working independently across customer sites

* Completing work safely and to a high standard

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with pumps, pumping equipment or associated mechanical and electrical systems.

Ideally, you will have:

* Previous pump engineering or maintenance experience

* Good mechanical and electrical knowledge

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Experience with in a field service or maintenance environment

* A proactive and reliable approach to work

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Willingness to participate in an on-call rota

* Flexibility to travel throughout the local region

* Full UK driving licence

This position would suit someone currently working as a Pump Engineer, Pump Service Engineer, Pump Maintenance Engineer, Pump Technician, Field Service Engineer or Mechanical/Electrical Engineer.
