An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Drainage Engineer to join a friendly and growing civil engineering team in Maidstone.

The successful candidate will work on a varied portfolio of projects, ranging from residential extensions and individual properties through to housing developments, schools and industrial schemes.

• Design of civil engineering and below-ground drainage systems, including levels and external works.
• Drainage network modelling and flood risk assessments.
• Preparing drainage strategies, S278 applications and applications for sewer connections, build-overs and adoptions.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, Local Authorities and water companies throughout the process.

• Relevant engineering degree, ideally at 2:1 or above, with previous civil/drainage design experience.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Experience with 3D modelling software and drainage modelling packages such as Causeway Flow.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Right to work in the UK.
