An established insurance business is looking to hire a qualified Reinsurance Accountant on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This role will be responsible for reinsurance month-end reporting, regulatory submissions and financial controls across a diverse insurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Own the month-end close process for reinsurance finance.
- Deliver analysis and reporting of monthly results.
- Coordinate Solvency II and Lloyd's reporting submissions.
- Maintain SOX-compliant financial controls.
- Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Insurance or reinsurance finance experience.
- Strong month-end, reporting and controls background.
- Experience with Solvency II and Lloyd's reporting is highly desirable.
- Strong Excel and stakeholder management skills.
