Role DescriptionThis full-time position as a Registered Manager is an on-site role located in Harrietsham. The Registered Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for children. Responsibilities include managing staff, implementing care plans, maintaining compliance with regulations, monitoring performance, and liaising with external agencies. The role also involves providing guidance and support to staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to children in the home.
Qualifications- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and experience in delivering personalized care plans
- Understanding of safeguarding practices and compliance with regulatory standards
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in the social care or children’s services sector
- Relevant professional qualification, such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or an equivalent
- Experience in supporting and managing vulnerable children is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders
