, primarily hips and knees, we are broadening our therapy services to include a dedicated
Senior Occupational Therapist
. This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop this new role as part of the orthopaedic service and to be an integral part of a growing and forward-thinking

making a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs in both inpatient and pre-assessment settings.
• Contribute to our expanding orthopaedic pathway, supporting patients through their recovery and maximising independence.
• Collaborate within an evolving multidisciplinary team committed to evidence-based care and clinical excellence.
• Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and students, while actively contributing to professional development across the team.
• Play a key role in patient experience initiatives, service improvements, and clinical audits.

• HCPC registration with a degree in Occupational Therapy.

• Minimum of 2 years` experience managing complex caseloads, ideally including orthopaedics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and a commitment to patient-centred care.
