Eclectic Care Ltd are looking for caring, reliable and professional Female Domiciliary Care Workers to join our expanding team in Maidstone and nearby areas.

This is a rewarding community based position providing high quality care and support to people in their own homes enabling them to keep their independence, dignity and quality of life.

As a Domiciliary Care Worker you will be supporting a range of clients including older people, people with dementia, physical impairments, long term health conditions and those who need help with daily life activities. You never do the same thing twice and you will have the opportunity to have a real impact on the lives of the people you support.

Key Duties
  • Deliver person-centred care that reflects the particular requirements, preferences and care plan of each client.
  • Assist clients with personal care such as washing, bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers, encouraging independence when possible.
  • Administer or help with medicine as per Company rules, procedures and training.
  • Assist with food preparation and consumption of food and drink as required.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, promoting wellbeing and reducing social isolation.
  • Assist with modest housework, including cleaning, laundry and maintaining a safe home environment.
  • Help clients shop, get to appointments, and participate in community events.
  • Watch for and report any changes in the physical or mental condition of clients.
  • Keep proper care records and documentation.
  • Always follow protection, health and safety, infection prevention and company regulations.
Basic Needs
  • Caring, compassionate, patient.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time well.
  • Commitment to providing high quality person orientated care.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • You will need a reliable vehicle to travel between clients’ houses during the working day.
  • Ability to work in the UK or qualify for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
  • Willingness to be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Requirements to be Desired
  • Experience in domiciliary care, home care, healthcare, or support work previously.
  • Experience of caring for people living with dementia or other complicated care requirements.
  • Health and Social Care qualification.
  • Training in the administration of medication.
  • Certifications:

    First Aid.
